Jill Oberlander
General Counsel
Jill Oberlander joins New City Parks with more than three decades of experience in law, government and policy, and non-profit organizations. Jill is an experienced non-profit general counsel, and has worked at several large law firms, the N.Y.S. Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and, in the years following 9/11, as general counsel of the Alliance for Downtown New York. Jill also was a publicly elected official in her hometown of Greenwich, CT, holding positions on the Board of Selectmen, Board of Estimate and Taxation, and Representative Town Meeting. Additionally, Jill has served on the governing boards of a variety of non-profit and civic organizations.
Jill received her B.A. in government and a master’s in public administration from Cornell University and received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
